Professional Accomplishments

In addition to maintaining a private practice, Nowak has done extensive public speaking on a variety of issues related to mental health. She has served as adjunct faculty at University of Indianapolis School of Nursing and has published in both professional journals as well as local publications.

Noreen Nowak APRN, MSN, CCNS established "Nowak Counseling and Consulting Services, PC" in 2007.  Her goal is to provide comprehensive, personalized, high quality mental health services in a professional, calming environment.

Services Offered

Noreen is a certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist with over thirty five years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked in a variety of settings such as inpatient and outpatient mental health services, nursing education and quality assurance.  She specializes in providing psychiatric medication management for both adolescents and adults.  She also offers psychotherapy to the adult population.  

Educational Background

Nowak earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue in 1982 and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University in 1985.  She has a two year certificate in Gestalt therapy and has participated in post graduate study in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and advanced psychopharmacology.
